We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, contact phone number, shop address, Business Registration documents (for B2B verification), part listings, photos, and chat communications exchanged on the platform. We also collect technical data such as IP addresses, browser types, device identifiers, and session timestamps.

Your data is used to: create and authenticate your account; publish your spare parts classifieds; connect you with prospective buyers and sellers; notify you of inquiries, price offers, and ad status updates; maintain security and prevent fraudulent listings; and comply with statutory legal requirements in Sri Lanka.

When you post a classified ad, your contact phone number, display name, district/city, and shop details are made visible to platform users to facilitate direct inquiries. We do not sell or rent your personal contact information to third-party marketing brokers. We may share information with verified SMS gateway providers, hosting infrastructure partners, and law enforcement agencies when legally required.

DriveSpares uses essential session cookies, theme preference tokens (light/dark mode), and secure authentication cookies. We also utilize Google AdSense and analytics tools to serve relevant contextual advertisements and optimize platform performance. You can control or disable non-essential cookies via your browser settings.

We maintain industry-standard security protocols, including 256-bit TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit, salted password hashing (Argon2/Bcrypt), role-based administrative access controls, and regular database backup protocols. However, no digital transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% impenetrable.

You have the right to access, update, correct, or request the permanent deletion of your DriveSpares account and listing history at any time. To request data deletion or an export of your information, submit a ticket through the Buyer/Seller dashboard or email support@drivespares.lk.
